Sobre um lugar, dentro da memória

Ao redor da minha casa, para além de pequenos aglomerados de moradias e prédios, vastos campos e bosques expandem-se pela paisagem. São memórias coloridas que me aquecem e que, neste recente regresso a casa, têm vindo a ocupar o meu pensamento. Com este projeto, pretendi explorar esses caminhos que a memória me trazia. Agora, neste olhar presente e mais atento, já não ingénuo, a misticidade e os contornos bizarros inerentes a esta terra sofreram uma espécie de metamorfose. O alerta e precaução ao percorrer estes caminhos opõe-se drasticamente à inocência daquelas aventuras passadas. Sobre este lugar, que existe apenas dentro da minha memória.

Around my house, in addition to small agglomerations of villas and buildings, vast fields and forests expand through the landscape. These are colorful memories that warm me and that, on this recent return home, have been occupying my mind. With this project, I intended to explore these paths that memory brought me. Now, in this present and more attentive, no longer naive look, the mysticity and bizarre contours inherent in this earth have undergone a kind of metamorphosis. The warning and precaution when walking these paths is drastically opposed to the innocence of those past adventures. About this place, which exists only within my memory.
