Bárbara Teixeira (1997), cresceu e vive, atualmente, na cidade do Porto. É uma fotógrafa no início do seu percurso. Estudou na ArCo - Centro de Arte e Comunicação Visual, em Lisboa. Completou, em Outubro de 2022, no Instituto de Produção Cultural e Imagem - Porto, o curso Profissional de Fotografia. Começou, nesse outubro, a trabalhar numa empresa portuguesa de mobiliário, FRATO, sediada na Maia. Nesta empresa, o seu foco tem sido, maioritariamente, fotografia documental e de produto - num âmbito comercial, mas, também, abordagens artísticas e minimalistas. Explora também a captura de imagem através de outros formatos, como vídeo e drone. 

O que a estimula e compele a fotografar é a descoberta de visões criativas sobre temas que a perseguem obsessivamente, tentando sempre encontrar alguma linha que conecte esta busca incessante por uma linguagem própria.

Bárbara Teixeira (1997), grew up and, currently, lives in the city of Porto. She is a photographer at the beginning of her journey. She studied at ArCo - Center for Art and Visual Communication, in Lisbon. She completed, in October 2022, the Professional Photography course at the Institute of Cultural Production and Image - Porto. Since that October, she started working in a furniture Portuguese company, FRATO, as the in-house photographer. There, her focus as been mostly product photography, but also, lifestyle photography as well as filming and capturing in other formats, such as drone. 

What compels her to photograph is the endless search for creative visions on themes that haunt her obsessively, always trying to understand where is the line that connects this unending journey for a language of her own.
